  • My office is located in Old Town Fairfax. Virginia at 4155 Chain Bridge Road.

  • I am currently a private-pay, out-of-network provider.

While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. To learn more about how this works you can visit this blog post.

  • A full guide to navigating out of network benefits and determining coverage can be found here.

  • My fee is $185 for individuals and $200 for couples. Sessions are for 55 minutes, weekly or bi-weekly depending on your needs and identified goals.

  • There is a 24 hour required cancellation notice. If sessions are cancelled in less that 24 hours, you will be charged the full fee. In the event of an unavoidable emergency, I reserve the right to waive the fee at my discretion.

  • You'll come into the office and grab a coffee or tea while you wait for me to come get you from the waiting room. Once in the office, we will review what brought you to therapy and talk a bit about your life story. You'll have time to ask questions and we'll review next steps from there.

  • In everyone's least favorite answer - it depends. Most people report some improvements in in 3-4 months.

Some people find shorter term therapy (a few months) is enough to address their concerns, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy (several months to years) for more complex or ongoing challenges.

  • I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia, holding a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). My training includes specialized work in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I completed through the EMDR Center for Excellence under the guidance of Deany Laliotis, a renowned expert in trauma therapy. I am currently in consultation with Jennifer Fights, LCMHC, a senior trainer at the EMDR Center for Excellence, as I work toward EMDRIA certification, the gold standard for EMDR therapists. In addition to EMDR, I incorporate psychodynamic and relational approaches, which focus on understanding how past experiences shape current behaviors and relationships. This diverse training allows me to offer a comprehensive, personalized approach to your healing process.
